Palm Sunday March 28th 2021 is an important opportunity to raise awareness of the continuing injustice & cruelty experienced by refugees & people seeking asylum.

PALM SUNDAY 'JUSTICE FOR REFUGEES RALLY
28TH MARCH - 2 PM STATE LIBRARY, MELBOURNE

This year, Palm Sunday actions are calling for:
·   Permanent visas for all refugees
·   Basic income support for people in the community while their refugee status is assessed (if they are unable to find work to support themselves)
·   Release of ALL Refugees from detention
·   An end to offshore processing  

Be part of the action on Palm Sunday: 
Music from 1.30pm 
Speakers include:
Moz, Julian Burnside, Sr Brigid Arthur, Faith community councils representatives.
MCs  - Ahmad Hakim (Refugee Voices) and Michele O’Neill, President, ACTU.   
Music by TARAB, Mulu, Galerah Pour, and Ajak and friends.   Supported by Riff Raff Radical Marching Band  

The Walk will be organised to be Covid-safe – wear a mask, observe social distancing, QR registration on arrival, and please don’t attend if you have symptoms.
