REFUGEE FOODBANK

Queenscliff RAR assists refugees and people seeking asylum by providing support to the Asylum Seeker Foodbank @The Welcome Place in Geelong.

With a number of people seeking asylum in Geelong being recently and wonderfully granted permanent visas, the need for food support at the Welcome Place at Wesley Church, Geelong has reduced.   However, donations of just the following items are welcomed for those who still need some assistance:

  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Sunflower or canola oil
  • Tins of tuna in oil
  • Sweet biscuits
  • Packets of dried fruit and nuts
  • Soap
  • Toothpaste and toothbrushes
  • Shampoo
  • Deodorant

Donations can be left in the QRAR Foodbank tub in the foyer of Queenscliff Uniting Church, Hesse Street, Queenscliff 

OR

Donations can be taken to the Wesley Centre building on Friday afternoons (excluding public holidays) from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.  Enter through the garden gate at 218 Ryrie St, Geelong or via the ramp leading from the Wesley Church car park at 100 Yarra St, Geelong

Supermarket vouchers can be posted to Queenscliff RAR, PO Box 52, Queenscliff 3225
